Regularly enriched by donations, bequests or loans, the archaeological collection of the museum consists mainly of local and regional pieces from excavations conducted either by the museum itself or, since 2011, by the CNRA.
Across five floors dedicated to this unique and singular heritage, a tour which is at once chronological and thematic takes the visitor through the human activity that took place in Luxembourg territories from prehistory to the Middle Ages, the Bronze and Iron Ages of the Gallo-Roman times. This is a fabulous odyssey through the ages and a fascinating journey for the general public.
