The fourth floor of the museum is finally reopening with a brand-new presentation of our extensive modern and contemporary art collection.
25 April 1974 marked the fall of the dictatorship in Portugal. 50 years on, the Nationalmusée is preparing a major exhibition.
Outside France, the museum boasts a public collection that is particularly representative of the Supports/Surfaces movement.
The museum will show an exhibition by Alfredo Cunha, the most famous photojournalist of the Carnation Revolution.
We teamed up with the city of Dudelange / Centres d’art Dominique Lang & Nei Liicht in order to pay hommage to the artist Marc Henri Reckinger (1940-2023).
