Discovering murals

During this afternoon tour, participants will have the opportunity to visit the interiors of the churches of Dalheim, Mondorf, Puttelange and Junglinster. In situ, art historian Henri Carême will present the history of these four country sanctuaries and analyse the decorative programmes of the religious murals painted in the 18th century by two master painters based in the Duchy of Luxembourg, Jean-Georges Weiser (1700/10-1768) and Ignace Millim (1743-1820).
