"With their project, 'Abri’Lux', the INUK 4tet embarks on a musical journey through the timeless songs of revered Portuguese songwriters. Focusing on the rich tapestry of folk and political music, they delve into the works of influential figures such as José Mário Branco, Sérgio Godinho, and the illustrious José Afonso. Known affectionately as 'Zeca', Afonso's legacy is inseparable from the historic events of April 25th, 1974. His anthem, 'Grandola, Vila Morena', served as the rallying cry for the Portuguese Armed Forces during the pivotal Carnation Revolution, marking the dawn of democracy in Portugal.

The performance promises a profound connection between the poetic lyrics, infused with the spirit of the April revolution, and the music itself, echoing the very essence of freedom. Through this harmonious blend, the audience is transported into a world of resistance, political activism, utopian ideals, dreams, and the enduring pursuit of peace and liberty."
