Instrumental stroll through the exhibition

The Portuguese guitar is a perfect expression of the soul of fado and the culture of an entire population. As an essential element of Portuguese tradition, this instrument makes the saudade resonate from all its strings, but also incorporates a more committed repertoire. Guitarist Pedro Quintas will be wandering through the rooms of our exhibition, playing songs that resonate with the various themes while showcasing this unique instrument. Pedro Quintas was trained at the Higher School of Applied Arts at the Castelo Branco Polytechnic Institute, and was a pupil of Custódio Castelo, the master par excellence of the twelve-string. Now based in Luxembourg, he is undoubtedly the instrument's most worthy ambassador in our latitudes.
