At the centre of this debate is the interpretation of one of the most decisive events in the history of Portugal, from its origins to its results and effects in the geostrategic context of the country, Europe and Africa at the end of the 20th century. The transition to democracy, the end of the empire and the uniqueness of a revolution are thus examined from different historical perspectives.
