Since its first edition in 2001, on the initiative of the "d'stater muséeën" group, the Night of the Museums in Luxembourg-City has become an annual event not to be missed by culture and heritage enthusiasts, allowing them to visit the seven museums of the group at night until 1 am.

Since its first edition in 2001, on the initiative of the "d'stater muséeën" group, the Night of the Museums in Luxembourg City has become the annual event not to be missed by culture and heritage enthusiasts, allowing them to visit the seven museums of the group at night until 1 a.m. The 20th anniversary of the Nuit des Musées awaits you with a special programme of guided tours, music, performances, workshops, culinary surprises and a festive all-nighter at Casino Luxembourg with a DJ set by Lagerkultur.

In order to provide an easier night-time experience, a combined ticket for all seven museums has been introduced as well as free shuttle buses.

The pre-sale runs until 9 October 2021 (2pm) in all participating museums, at the Luxembourg City Tourist Office and on luxembourgticket.lu:

- Youngsters from 16-26 : 3€

- Kulturpass : 1,50€

Tickets sold at the evening box office go to the following rate:

- Adults : 15€

- Youngsters from 16-26 : 7€

- Kulturpass : 1,50€

- <16 or Amis des Musées : 0€

Thank you in advance for your understanding if, due to overcrowding or limited capacity, you are denied access to any of the museums.

CovidCheck-Regime

Admission to the Night of the Museums is reserved for people who can present a valid CovidCheck certificate (QR code):

- COVID-19 vaccination certificate (complete vaccination schedule)

- Certificate of negative COVID-19 test (certified PCR or antigen test)

- Certificate of recovery

Children under 6 years of age are exempt from submitting a certificate.

Self-tests on site will not be accepted.

Prior to their visit, visitors have the opportunity to undergo a free certified antigenic test at one of the fifteen testing centres spread throughout the capital if required. In addition, the "Free antigen test certification centre" of the City of Luxembourg (70 Grand Rue, L-1660) will be open until 9 pm on the occasion of the Night of the Museums. To avoid queuing, it is nevertheless advisable to have a test in the morning or in the afternoon, if necessary.
