To better explain the title of our exhibition, “The 1974 Revolution. From the Streets of Lisbon to Luxembourg,” we have invited various speakers who experienced the revolution firsthand, including an April Captain, to provide an overview of this significant political change in Europe. The focus will be on the impact that the fall of the Portuguese dictatorship had on Luxembourg. And what more symbolic venue to discuss this than the Bonnevoie Trade Union Casino, where so many decisive meetings about the Portuguese community took place?

With António Rosado da Luz (April Captain), Manuel Malheiros, José Rebelo, António Paiva, and Serge Kollwelter, as well as exhibition curators Régis Moes and Isabelle Maas. Moderation: Paula Telo, former journalist.
