with Anabela Mota Ribeiro, journalist, and Alfredo Cunha, photographer
- FR/PT (Part 1 in FR; simultaneous interpretation for Part 2) Free
Anabela Mota Ribeiro, journalist, creator of cultural content and novelist, is the author and presenter of the famous television programme Os Filhos da Madrugada, ‘Children of the Dawn’. These programmes (2021, 2022, 2024, RTP3) are based on around a hundred testimonies, the transcripts of which have been published. At the invitation of the BnL and the Nationalmusée, she will draw on these poignant and singular accounts to evoke Portugal's slow democratic construction and create a veritable mosaic of Portuguese society over the last 50 years.
In the second part, she will talk in Portuguese to the famous photojournalist of the Carnation Revolution, Alfredo Cunha, who is on show at the Nationalmusée with an exhibition on the 50th anniversary of his career.
This event takes place at the National Library Luxembourg
